2. Hosting

This website is hosted on infrastructure provided by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. IONOS processes personal data as a technical hosting provider for the provision of this website.

Where personal data is processed in the context of hosting, this is done to provide the website securely and reliably and to administer the technical environment.

3. Server log files

When you access this website, the hosting provider processes technical access data such as the referrer, requested page or file, browser type and version, operating system, device type, access time and an anonymized IP address.

This processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR because it is necessary to ensure the security, stability and technical functionality of the website.

According to IONOS, this data is stored for 8 weeks, is not disclosed to third parties and is not transferred to countries outside the EU.

4. Local browser storage

At present, this website does not use its own analytics or marketing cookies and does not embed tracking tools.

It only stores a local display preference for the light/dark theme in your browser. This storage is used solely to provide the display mode you explicitly requested on your device.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in conjunction with Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG.

5. Contact by email or form

If you contact me by email or through the contact form, I process the information you provide, in particular your name, company, email address, optional phone number, selected topic and message.

The processing is carried out to answer your inquiry, to initiate or carry out pre-contractual measures and to prevent technical misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the inquiry is pre-contractual and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The standard form handler also processes technical anti-abuse data, in particular a hashed form of the IP address and timestamps, in order to limit repeated automated requests.

Recipients include the persons responsible for handling the inquiry as well as technical service providers for hosting and email delivery. Inquiry data is deleted once the inquiry has been fully handled unless statutory retention duties or legitimate reasons require further storage.

6. Protected internal planning area

A server-side PHP session login is used for protected access to an internal planning area.

During sign-in, the entered username, password, timestamp and technical security information are processed for access control and misuse prevention. After successful authentication, a technically required session cookie is set so the protected area remains available during your visit.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and, for the strictly necessary session cookie, Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG. Failed login attempts may be rate-limited for security reasons.

7. Scheduling via Calendly

This website only provides an external link for scheduling with Calendly: https://calendly.com/contact_beyondlimits. A Calendly embed is currently not used on beyondlimits.io.

Only if you actively click that link will you move to a Calendly service. From that point onward, data is processed by Calendly LLC under its own privacy information.

According to Calendly's published information, personal data may be processed in the United States and other third countries. Calendly states that transfers from the EEA rely, among other things, on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and supplementary contractual safeguards.

8. Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to the processing of your personal data.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
